An Introduction

Hello, I'm Sebastian Lynn and this Blog is my personal journal about spiritual growth, developing new insights, and much more. I'm starting this Blog so I can share with my friends and family about the things I'm learning, doing, and experiencing while I travel throughout this upcoming year. I have been planning an extended road trip for some time now and look forward to actually being able to travel.

The purpose of my travels are to learn more about spiritual issues, holistic medicine, Shambhala, T'ai Chi, Holographic Repatterning, Life Paths, My Service to humanity, and so much more. I am opening myself to receive enlightenment at various levels - it might be, as I've already discovered, the joy of taking a walk and finding a beautiful flower along the path or it might be in the wisdom gained from a conversation - either with a friend or a new acquaintance.

I have learned through reading several books - "Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield and "Callings" by Gregg Levoy - that it's important to recognize when to speak with someone. So when I see someone that looks familiar, reminds me of someone I know, or someone that I catch eyes with that we are to meet and share with each other. Meetings of this sort have a purpose, it's in sharing some information about our personal journey with each other - an exchange of information to help guide each other along the path. Since I have began this new approach, I've been amazed and blessed with some wonderful new friends. Without fail everyone I've met has shared something with me that I needed to learn, and, I've been able to share something with them to help guide them also. You may call it Synchronicity (you can also read Deepak Chopra's book by the same name), Happenstance, Coincidence, or whatever, but it's all the same. The more I become aware of synchronicity the more it happens, the more people I meet, the more things fall into place. Of course the other part of the puzzle is in asking questions and always being honest and open without fear. After all a path begins with asking a question.

Originally I had believed that my growth and learning would begin once I was actually on the road traveling, however, I've come to realize that it has already begun. Most of my knowledge has been gained through casual meetings at Genuine Joe's Coffee House in Austin, TX. I've been blessed with many new friends through these meetings. Genuine Joe's has an unusual energy and it's been attracting like-minded people - all developing their spiritual enlightenment, following their paths, and with an understanding of synchronicity. I've met Gretchen, another traveler who's studying aspects of combining spiritualism into education. She's an incredible person who's kind, caring, and thoughtful. I hope to run into her as we both attend to our travels. We will be keeping in touch through emails and I have her to thank for showing me this great website, as I was looking for a way to share my thoughts and experiences.

I'll be sharing many things here in my Blog - Books I'm reading or have read, Trainings I receive, Places I've visited, People I meet, and my thoughts. Welcome into the world of The Creative Mind.
