Globe Garden

As part of actually trying to see what some of my garden designs might look like if they were built by using my 3D modeling program, this is the Globe Garden. The globe represents mother earth, the spires represent our desire to reach a higher plane of spiritual existance, the water represents life. The area around the globe is just open grass so people can play and enjoy themselves while they are inspired by the earth. Maybe one day I'll find someone to finance the gardens I've designed and a place to create them so others can be inspired, I hope, by the ideas I've generated.

Globe Garden

Here you can see the globe and spires as compared to the open space around them and scale the sculpture to a person from the people below it.

This is a close up view of the base of the spires and the water that surrounds them. On the side you can see a man walking so you can get an idea of the scale.

Globe Garden

As you can see from this view the spires and globe are rather large, about 6 stories tall. The garden area around the globe is just grass for people to sit, have picnics, play, and just enjoy themselves.

This is a view showing how big the spires are compared to a person from the ground. The globe is mother earth and is elevated to cause respect for her.

Meditation Garden

While I've been staying at home I've been playing with a new 3D modeling program. I have drawn many buildings and gardens so I've been using the modeling program to see what my drawings would look like built. This is the first project I worked on and it's a Meditation Garden with a small meditation center where one can sit and reflect or meditate. I see the garden being built in a large city so that people can have a place to relax and enjoy some quiet time.

This is the view of the meditation area inside the garden.

This view shows the reflection pool in front of the bench. The circles represent the various chakras so as you meditate you can invision the various colors.

This is a close up view of the steps leading to the meditation bench. You can see that the actual meditation area isn't that big.

This is the view of the place one would sit to meditate. The bench faces East and allows one to see the sunlight being reflected in the reflection pool.

This is a close up view of the steps that lead down and then up to the bench. If you look close you'll see the small water falls on the edge of the steps.

This is another arial view of the Meditation Center with the small lakes behind it.
